Why Storytelling?

Storytelling doesn’t make us less professional, it makes us more human and companies around the world are waking up to a new era of communication – storytelling.

Empathy is a skill and storytelling is a science. By sharing personal stories we can experience new ways of thinking and create more inclusive places to work. Importantly, storytelling also builds listening, negotiation and persuasion skills – all key for success in the working world.

At TLC Lions, our storytellers have evoked emotion, sparked conversation, and witnessed employees wanting to share their stories. We now want to share our methodology with you to support your employees with their personal and professional development. While some may be eager to share, others may feel forced and through our endless research, we understand it’s imperative for employees to receive training on how to share their stories.
