Job Overview

We’re looking for a Director in New York City as we expand the impact of TLC Lions to the USA. As a Director you will be responsible for establishing our presence in New York City and working with the TLC Lions team to deliver our growth plans to impact a new and wider audience – New York City’s corporate organizations.

As the NYC Director, you will be working closely with founder & CEO Gian Power and our advisory board to launch TLC Lions in New York City including establishing our brand and client base. The role requires an extremely driven individual with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results and knowledge of the corporate culture in NYC. 

As well as working to establish our presence in a new market, you will manage inbound and outbound client requests and actively establish a pipeline of clients to support in NYC. At the same time, using our expansive network at TLC Lions to explore existing relationships we have in the USA. We go above and beyond for our clients, as we care and want to provide a service that can change lives and company cultures. We pride ourselves on building strong relationships that are genuine and authentic.

We’re looking for someone who is incredibly self-motivated, a visionary and effortlessly builds relationships with all those they interact with. You are able to think strategically, analyse future trends and growth opportunities for TLC Lions whilst also executing at pace on a daily basis. The role will suit an individual who has an intrapreneurial spirit and above all is trustworthy and passionate about our cause. It’s essential to have impeccable communication skills as you’ll be working across timezones with the team at TLC Lions HQ in London. 

Our team thrives in a fast paced environment and the role requires somebody with knowledge of the NYC B2B world, an ability to build relationships, think big and is a natural communicator.  We are looking for an individual who is ready for a new and exciting challenge. 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Establishing TLC Lions’ presence in NYC
  • Working alongside the founder to create, develop and deliver the TLC Lions growth strategy in NYC
  • Actively seeking new industries and organizations to support 
  • Holding sales calls, meetings and follow up discussions for new clients
  • Managing all inbound client requests and translating their needs into action 
  • Building and maintaining close client relationships for repeat work 
  • Later building and managing a NYC based team
