Job Overview

We’re looking for an Operations Manager to join the TLC Lions team as the company experiences rapid growth across the UK and internationally. You’ll be taking a lead of the operations at TLC Lions to ensure the highest level of service for our TLC Lions clients whether in person/virtual events or those who choose one of our 3 storytelling series. You’ll be managing key client relationships ensuring the smooth running of all events, from onboarding through to execution and monitoring feedback and results. 

Our team thrives in a very fast paced environment and the role requires somebody with an ability to effectively manage a range of tasks simultaneously whilst delivering a consistently high standard of work. While managing new and existing clients, you will also work closely with other members of the team in delivering ongoing operational processes and efficiencies as we grow and bringing new ideas to the table. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running from day one and who thrives in the ever changing world of a start-up. 

The role requires an individual with 5+ years experience in event and client management that will allow you to problem solve and deliver exceptional event administrative support to our clients as well as managing communication with our 25+ TLC Lions Storytellers. This role is for someone with extremely high attention to detail, excellent written and spoken communication skills and who has a track record of naturally building relationships with high profile clients.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Onboarding and managing new and existing client relationships

  • Actively supporting all stages of client relationships from onboarding through to ongoing account management and feedback meetings

  • Coordinating and supporting client facing and internal events (both virtual and in person) 

  • Raising invoices and tracking payments

  • Managing communication with our 25+ TLC Lions for each event

  • Supporting with logistics for the wider TLC Lions team

  • Supporting with wider TLC Lions research, trend analysis and understanding how client’s changing needs impact our future services
